Meet Frank Mastropaolo!

Frank has been teaching at Meridian Music and Arts for about 5 years now. In addition to his time at MMA, he has been a local drum instructor in the valley for a very long time. He is the best drummer in the house as far as we are concerned. He runs his own Non-Profit (Armada Corps) and helps local youth compete at a high level in drum lines. We hear a large array of music genres coming out of his studio as students rock out on the drums, marimbas, etc.

Frank Mastropaolo has a wide breadth of experience in teaching and performing drums and a degree in Music with a Percussion Performance emphasis. Frank has years of performance experience including concert, marching, and ensemble percussion as well as live performance in hand percussion and drum set for several different groups. In addition to offering private lessons, Frank is the drum caption head, arranger and instructor for a local high school. In addition to being a Vater Endorsed Artist Educator ( vater.com ), Frank Mastropaolo is the director of Rhythm Armada Drum Line, a local performing marching drum line. Frank offers lessons in all styles of percussion including drum set, concert percussion, marching percussion and mallet instruments. All lessons are one on one and designed to meet the individual students goal. Lessons also include music and rhythm theory. No previous drum or percussion experience required and no drum set required to start. Former and current students include success stories with music including recording, touring, teaching, college scholarships in music, state champions in drum set and snare solo, drum line DIII champions, drum corp, playing for church & worship groups, section leaders, jazz bands, marching bands, concert bands, community groups, performance groups, and those playing just for fun.
