We are always looking for new teachers at Meridian Music and Arts (MMA). If you are interested in a career or teaching position at MMA please read all of the information below and then submit an application request and we will be in touch within 48 hours.

What we are looking for

We are looking for professional musicians. This doesn’t just mean you need to play your instrument well. In addition to being proficient on your instrument you need to be an organized business person. You need to be able to manage schedules, handle public relations, and most importantly provide quality instruction in a positive learning environment.

We are not an employer

All music instructors at MMA are self-employed. All music instructors at MMA rent studio space on a monthly basis. They manage their own schedules, business, etc. MMA simply screens all applicants to ensure they are qualified instructors and rents out studio space. Of course there are additional perks to teaching at MMA but this is the basic layout.

How the application process works

  1. First you need to submit an application request.
  2. We will review your request, determine whether or not we have space available, then send you the proper information to help you get started on your application.
  3. Once your application is submitted we will review it and vote on it at the monthly MMA board meeting. The MMA board meeting is held the second Tuesday of each month.
  4. After voting you will be informed of our decision via email. This email will provide you with any additional information that you may need to get started.
